Reflexology

What is Reflexology?

"The value of health is seldom appreciated until it is lost"

Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to all the glands, organs and parts of the body. It is a unique method, applying gentle pressure on these reflex areas with the thumb, fingers and various hand techniques, to stimulate the movement of energy and the nerve supply to the different body systems. A reflexology session is a wonderful way to reduce stress, promote healing, improve circulation and restore balance to the body.

Facial Reflexology

“Radiating from within”

Face reflexology Clooney concept

Facial reflexology brings all the benefits of foot reflexology but not only does it aim to help clients improve their health and wellbeing, the unique benefit is that it also can help give them the complexion a younger, radiant glow as well as leaving the skin to appear tighter, smoother and plumper over a series of treatments. Working on the same principles as foot reflexology & using 57 “Dien’ Cham” points on the head, this treatment takes place on the face and head. This non-invasive treatment is based on the theory that areas on your face are connected to areas of your body, and stimulating them improves underlying energy imbalances which promotes wellbeing. The proximity of the face to the brain is key to the effectiveness of this original therapy.

A Reflexology treatment aids in the relief of stress and tension and has a deeply relaxing effect.

Reproductive Reflexology

Preconception Care. The aim of preconception care is to provide ongoing support to clients that hope to enhance fertility, yet it is not limited to this, as it may extend to include other conditions that may be linked to the Reproductive system in both males and females. Reflexology is excellent at reducing levels of stress. Psychologically it may also help address the complex mental and emotional facts which may be affecting your fertility while on a physical level reflexology may tackle medical conditions that may too be present.

Emotional Foot Reading

“There is far more to the feet than first meets the eye”

Based on the principle that our feet have supported us throughout our life, where daily events leave an impact on both - they have "Under" "Stood" every event emotionally and physically that we have being through. It has been noted that though the skin on the feet tends to be thicker they are highly sensitive due to the high density of nerves. By drawing energy from the ground the keep the body, mind and soul balanced hence when there is tension in the body it causes the muscles in the feet to tighten which immediately restricts the flow of life force energy throughout the feet and thereby the body. Once the mind lets go of the emotion the feet and the body can relax letting go of so many unnecessary burdens. The relief of letting go is enormous and has a profound effect on the body.

The Reflexology Session

What to expect

You may expect about 50 minutes of actual pressure. Most often, a reflexology session begins by seating yourself comfortably in a chair that elevates the feet for the practitioner's best working angle or the on the plinth for facial reflexology.
(A lap blanket for additional comfort is usually provided!)

Foot Reflexology

is offered using the thumbs to rub and stimulate the sole of one foot, moving along the meridians according to your specific health issues. Later, the other sole will be worked on as well. Pressure is applied with the thumb and forefinger, working vertically and horizontally throughout.

This entire procedure is done skin-on-skin. I personally apply a balm to the foot when working the through the treatment. Your foot actually is home to 7,000 nerve endings, so it's a rich location for pain relief and other health benefits.

Facial Reflexology

is offered by walking the face in a relaxing manner using the index finger. I use a light organic sensitive face oil.
